Spellbinding color was the inspiration for this light-flooded room and hard-working kitchen I used an earthy, hot-flashing orange, with hues of fruits and flowers on the walls, and covered the banquette in a cool pool of complimentary brilliant turquoise. Playful, freewheeling, and unconventional, the space is both a safe harbor and an escape.
